The filter box is where the carburetor sucks the air from the outside. It is the first thing that we will have to clean thoroughly so that once clean the carburetor aspires without problems. The best thing to do is to disassemble the filter box and clean it with hot water and soap or in the worst case with gasoline.

2. DISASSEMBLE CARBURETOR

Simply disassemble the carburetor, this is normally fixed with flanges and the intake rubber. Unscrew and try to keep all the screws of the carburetor, they are small and many! You can take the opportunity to check how is the intake rubber, if it is cracked it will catch air and the bike will not rev correctly.

3. CLEAN EXTERNAL/INTERNAL CARBURETOR

Take the opportunity to clean the outside of the carburetor + the intake rubber and its washers. Disassemble and clean the inside of the carburetor with gasoline and WD-40. Disassemble all the injectors/chicles of the carburetor and clean them with WD-40 or pressurized air. You should see the clean hole against the light.
